After spending three days working in an office near the Nadi airport, it was time to fly to Yasawa Island Resort & Spa. As I like to tell people, part of the adventure of visiting Yasawa begins the second you step on the plane.
The 30-minute flight from Nadi to Yasawa never disappoints. Stunning. The plane was full of staff heading over to the resort. As always, the service from the great team at Pacific Island Air was exceptional.
And, once back at Yasawa, it was great to see some old friends, and to make some new ones. Everyone is very busy preparing the resort for its first guests since March 2019. We have 12 days to get everything and everyone ready. Bures to paint and clean. Roofs to re-thatch. Light fixtures to replace. Staff to re-train.
But there is one thing that does not need any work. The pristine beach, which is always ready.
