Located just outside of Lautoka, about 20 minutes from the Nadi airport, is First Landing Resort. I stayed here once in the 1990s, and our recent stay is in one of their very nice Garden Villas.
The close proximity to Nadi and the oceanfront location make this a much nicer choice than an airport hotel.
Also, it is within walking distance of the Boatshed, which has quickly become one of our favorite places to enjoy lunch and dinner. Located directly next to the Vuda Marina, the Boatshed has a fun bar with tons of flags from around the world, and some lawn areas with tables. It is a great place to get a drink and enjoy dinner.
One of our favorite things about First Landing Resort is the friendly staff. The housekeepers loved decorating the villa with flowers, and they used leaves to spell out friendly sayings every evening.
