Tucson - Winter Desert Beauty

Paul

Having visited Tucson at least ten times in the past three years, my wife and I both agree that there is nothing quite like a beautiful desert sunset. And for this visit to Tucson, we brought along some friends.

While in Tucson, we were fortunate to have enjoyed some amazing hiking in both Saguaro National Parks (east and west), as well as visiting loads of other historical and natural sights.

Along with our friends, we arrived to Tucson with two goals: spending time in the desert, and experiencing some of Tucson's amazing food scene. We LOVED Raijin Ramen and Seis Mexican.

While the desert always seems to be so harsh and uninviting, its beauty is in its simplicity. Lots of hidden life, subtle colors, and sunsets straight out of a dream.

People who live in Tucson take their sunsets seriously. They flock to areas like Tucson Mountain Park, A-Mountain, Tumamoc Hill, and the hills around Mt. Lemmon. Sunsets in Tucson are an event.
