The Knob and Woods Hole

Paul

There is a very popular and short hike in Woods Hole to The Knob. It is a hill, jutting out from the mainland, where you can walk to the edge and look west.

This is probably the busiest hike we have been on at the Cape. Perhaps because it is such a short and easy walk. It is certainly well worth a stop.

And once in Woods Hole, a stroll down the Main Street brings you by the starting line for the world-famous Falmouth Road Race. The road race will be held on Sunday 21 August. While I am no longer in running shape, I have signed up to be a volunteer. At least I can be there to experience the excitement of this really fun event.
