My wife is fascinated with petroglyphs. We have seen them all over the world. And one of the best is Newspaper Rock in Utah. Located over 12 miles from the main road, it is not the easiest place to get to, but well worth the effort.
It is fascinating to see this ancient petroglyph. What was going through their minds when they picked this location? Are their messages in these drawings? Are these ancient taggers, equivalent to today's urban spray paint artists? Or, is this the work of an ancient Banksy?
Whatever it is, it sure is cool to look at and imagine.
