Minneapolis Weekend

Paul

We have traveled to Minneapolis this weekend for our nephew's wedding. We visited this great city several years ago and loved the experience. We were very unsure of the weather when we planned this trip. Late October could be sunny and warm, or cloudy and very cold. Luck was on our side - stunning, warm weather greeted us on our arrival.

Our first stop was a local tavern, a favorite of our nephew and his fiancee. We enjoyed some beers, pizza, playing darts, and the Minnesota tradition of pull-tabs. (if you know, you know)

For dinner, we wanted to head into the city, so we took Ubers to the Vikings stadium. Very impressive.

We walked down to the waterfront area (the Mississippi River) before heading to a local neighborhood restaurant. The city is just as we remembered, and we loved the local feel of the neighborhoods and the people.
