Today's adventure is brought to you by Somerset Creamery. Delicious ice cream in Cataumet. We stopped by here a few weeks ago, but forgot that most of the ice cream places near us are cash-only. We will not make that mistake twice.
After enjoying our ice cream, we drove around Cataumet and Pocasset, ending up at Monument Beach for sunset. A fishing boat was arriving as the sun dropped below the horizon. Motorboats and sailboats gently swayed in the very calm bay. This is another reminder how much I have missed the water, and how relaxing it can be just watching and listening to the water. This should be a mandatory de-stressing activity for everyone.
