Fishing, Beaches and a Sunset Cocktail

Paul

What to do, what to do.

How about another fishing adventure?

It was mid-afternoon and we were looking for something to do. So, we hopped in the car and drove to Chapoquoit Beach. This beach and parking area is accessible only with a resident's parking sticker, so there are no big crowds.

We walked along the beach, fished for about an hour, and were quite content to not be bothered at all by those pesky fish. Not even a nibble. But that's OK. The view was amazing and the time spent there was very peaceful.

Tonight, we drove up to Pocasset, which is a village that is part of Bourne. The Chart Room is a famous and very popular restaurant right on the water, directly next to a marina. Famous for its frozen Mudslide, the Chart Room was very busy tonight. Loads of people sitting on the grass, with frequent visits from the neighborhood ducks. The food was tasty. The drinks were delicious. The views were fantastic.

I don't want to say that we are getting spoiled being here on the Cape . . . but we are.
