Craigsville Beach

Paul

At least once per week, we try to do a bit of exploring after dinner. Tonight's destination was Craigsville Beach and Hyannis. A favorite of my sister, Craigsville Beach is (by Cape Cod standards) huge. It is a very deep and long beach with really nice sand. I can tell by the size of the parking lot that this place gets super busy. And based on the beautiful sand, water, and views it is rightfully popular.

After Craigsville, we drove into Hyannis. Normally, you try to avoid Hyannis in the summer due to the crushing numbers of tourists and snarled traffic. But since we were there late in the day, it was a pretty safe time to visit. We stopped by the Hyannis Marina to have a look at some of the beautiful boats, and then drove to the John F. Kennedy memorial. The memorial has a stunning location, overlooking a beach and many moored sailboats.
