Boston one last time this year . . .

One of the great joys of spending 5+ months on Cape Cod was our relatively close proximity to the amazing city of Boston. We have been so very fortunate to have visited Boston several times, allowing us to enjoy amazing meals in the North End, great walks in the city, sporting events, and some fun experiences.

One last visit to Boston - literally the day before we depart.

Our first stop was the Sam Adams Brewery for a quick tour and some tasty beer.

A drive into the city brought us to the very trendy and very popular Seaport area. This is one of Boston's newest and hippest areas, with loads of luxury apartments, restaurants, upscale shops, and a great location on the old Pier 4. There was an open-air Christmas outdoor market that was super busy on the day after Thanksgiving. A walk to the waterfront rewarded us amazing views of the city.

OK. Ready for dinner. And, our final dinner in Boston had to be in the North End, home to Boston's best Italian restaurants.

We had one final treat in store. Amazing seats to the Boston Celtics games versus the Sacramento Kings. An awesome game, with the Celtics dominating.

We will miss these easy visits to Boston and we treasure the time we have spent there.
