Back to Tucson

What better way to escape the cold and snow of Colorado than a roadtrip back to Tucson. Clear blue skies. Warm days, cool nights. World-class dining experiences. And a chance to experience the desert southwest.

We drove from Colorado to Tucson, with a stop at our normal half-way point, Albuquerque. Arriving to Tucson late in the afternoon, we made it just in time to check in to our AirBnB, and to get out and experience another breathtaking desert sunset.

While in Tucson, we did some great hiking in Tucson Mountain Park, visited some of our favorite restaurants, found some new restaurants, and took in as much of the warm desert air as we could.

Leaving our son behind for the second semester of his Junior year at U of A, we headed north for more adventures. With our National Parks pass in hand, we had a long list of places we wanted to visit on our roundabout journey home.
