This morning, we took another stroll around Jenkins pond. It was a cool, crisp morning, and the sun shimmering off the pond was stunning. Not many people out and about this morning, and we can tell that many of the seasonal homes near the pond have already been packed up and secured for the season. The beaches at the pond were empty.
On our walk, we came across some first signs of Autumn. I am NOT ready to loosen my grip on Summer!
So, we decided to spend the warm afternoon at Surf Drive Beach in Falmouth. Quite a few people joining us for some warm sun and sand. Our beach days are numbered. And this makes me sad.
