Another tough-to-take Friday on Cape Cod.
This afternoon, we headed to Wood Neck Beach. This was a very different experience than our last visit here. Today was super windy, and the waves were ripping. We loved standing in the ocean water, getting hit by wave after wave. It was good fun.
From the beach, we watched as windsurfers zoomed by, followed by some intrepid kite surfers. Some of the kite surfers were really good - one guy consistently got 20+ feet of air on his jumps.
We returned home for some cocktails on the deck, followed by a very special treat. The local grocery store had a very good sale on our favorite meal. Not a bad way to start the weekend.
