I spent this weekend at my brother's house in Sandwich, dog-sitting for his German Shephard named Umpire. The weather was rough. Really cloudy, cool, and loads of rain. Normally, great conditions to go fishing, so I did. I spent one afternoon and the following morning fishing on the Canal near the Visitors Center. It is always so nice to be out near the water, throwing in a line, and embracing a bit of solitude. Unfortunately, it was proven once again: fish do not fear me. Not one single bite. A few hours by the water was surely worthwhile.
