A Final Sunset


Friends and family have constantly asked us, "What are you going to miss the most?". A difficult question indeed. But one experience at or near the top of the list of answers to this question is easy: sunsets over the water.


Admiring sunsets has become something of a ritual for us. We love taking time at the end of the day to visit a nearby beach to watch the majesty of the setting sun.


Today's sunset is our last before we depart from Falmouth. And what better place to visit than Old Silver Beach.


Back in September, we had discussed doing our own version of the polar plunge prior to our departure. What we didn't realized was that the weather would be cold, and the water would be very cold. Big plans indeed.


This is as far as we got. We at least tried . . .
