Happy 4th of July!
Falmouth is very famous for having a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display. And boy, it did not disappoint.
We parked our car about one mile from Falmouth Heights, and walked with the masses towards the beach. We found a spot on the sand, looking out over the beach and ocean, towards Martha's Vineyard on the horizon.
The fireworks take place from a barge, that is specially placed just offshore, and from which emanates an amazing display. At exactly 9:00p, the show started. Oohs and Aahs from the packed crowds on the beach.
Travel and Leisure magazine listed Falmouth as having one of the top 10 fireworks displays in the USA. Rightfully deserved.
