Tomorrow is our scheduled departure date from Cancun. But we have just decided that we're not leaving. For several reasons.
- Our friends back home are texting us, advising that the stores have run out of toilet paper and cleaning supplies.
- Our son's University has emailed him and advised that he should not return to campus after Spring Break, and that all classes will be online for the remainder of the semester.
- It is cold at home.
- It is warm and sunny in Playa.
- Our condo is available to extend our stay for a few days.
- The airline is offering no-fee flight changes.
- Local restaurants are affordable, and beers are cheap.
This is a no-brainer. The only question is how long can we stay and escape the 'real world'.
