Lunch & the Dead

Paul

Another stunning morning in San Miguel de Allende. The weather here is so ideal. Cool nights, warm days, sunny blue skies. It is deliciously boring and consistent.

Have I mentioned how much we love our house and view?

Our single complaint? The cobblestone streets are absolutely brutal on our feet!

We decided to grab some lunch off the Main Street south of the old town area, and then head to the city's largest cemetery - Panteon de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. I know, I know. Strange place to visit, but we came here 4 1/2 years ago to witness Dia de los Muertos, and we wanted to return without the massive crowds. It was very quiet and peaceful. Not the same experience as the massive celebrations on 1 November, but a cool place to visit.

On our walk home, we came across so many cool things to see. Every corner of this city delivers a unique surprise.
