Fish Tacos, Cenotes, & Drinks

Paul

Darn you, Akumal. We can't resist. We returned to our favorite Akumal lunch spot for some amazing fish tacos, very cold beer, and great views.

From there, we drove to one of the several cenotes, where you can swim in the cooling fresh water. The cenote we picked was known for being a locals spot, so we could avoid the crush of tourists. While there were still tourists there, it was very low key and relaxing.

On the drive back to Playa, we were reminded that there is some local wildlife, and you need to be on the lookout.

After Happy Hour on our verandah, and a swim in the rooftop pool, we headed into town and enjoyed some reasonably sized margaritas. Wow.
