Art, Chickens & Views

Paul

Puerto Vallarta is not a huge city. We have walked so many of the streets in the 5 de Deciembre and Zona Romantica neighborhoods. Yet we still are able to find new sites and interesting places to explore.

Today we walked to the Zona Romantica and came across some beautiful street art. We visited the island which is located on the river, separating PV's neighborhoods. There is a lively art scene here, with some small galleries and a fun Friday/Saturday market. Near the island is a Tortilleria, with its huge tortilla making machine, complete with loud squeaky noises that let you know you are close to hot and fresh tortillas.

This morning, I awoke to a moonlit sky and a cacophony of rooster crows. Listen to them on the video above.

This evening, we witnessed yet another amazing sunset. No two sunsets are the same, and we try to take some time out of every day to witness them all.
