We are currently living the San Rafael neighborhood. A great spot full of locals, tons of small shops, and a nice, quiet area. A very short walk away is the Guadaloupe neighborhood, which is famous for its many street murals.
And the number and diversity of murals was incredible. Here is just a sample:
Just northeast of this area is the Fabrica Aurora, a former textile factory turned artist enclave. It is massive, and it has tons of art studios. Incredibly impressive. We spent a bit of time talking with an Italian artist who moved here from Tuscany. It is an artists' dream setting.
